Dear WFV Owners and Residents,
We have received a fire code directive from the Maui Fire Department regarding the use and storage of gas canisters and gas grills on lanais.

Based on the limits and clearances presented in the fire code guidelines, unfortunately no outdoor lanai on our property can accommodate a gas grill.
It is therefore required that you discontinue any use of personal gas grills and remove them and any gas storage containers from your lanai.
The common grills in the pool area will remain in use and available for all residents.
Further, the guidelines from the fire department allow the use of small electric grills on lanais that are no larger than 210 square inches of cooking surface.
The revised House Rules that we are currently working on will contain the updated information given in this notice.
Please be diligent in complying with the fire code directives.
